amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium injection
Description It is off-white to light yellow suspension.
Pharmacology
Antimicrobial spectrum and activity of amoxicillin are same as which of ampicillin. Clavulanate is a β-lactamase inhibitor, which can competitive irreversible binding with the β-lactamase to make the β-lactamase lost the activity to hydrolyze β-lactam antibiotics. Amoxicillin combined with clavulanate can increase the activity to treat the Resistant Staphylococcus infection.
Indications For treatment of animal bacterial infections which sensitive to Amoxicillin, such as pasteurellosis, pneumonia, mastitis, metritis, pullorum, salmonellosis, sepsis and so on.
Dosage and administration
In cattle, swine dogs and cats: Administer intramuscularly or subcutaneously at a dosage of 1ml per 20kg of body weight. Once a day, use 3 to 5 days.
Adverse reactions A small number of animals may cause pain or local tissue reactions after injected.
Precautions:
1. Shake well before using and gently massage the injection site after injected.
2. People with hypersensitivities (allergies) to penicillins should not handle the product. If occur allergic reactions just from contact, such as rash, severe symptoms of the face, eyes or lips swelling and breathing difficulties, please contact your doctor immediately.
3. Avoid contact with the drug when operating.
4. Use completely dry needles and syringes to prevent the water droplets contaminated remaining injection. 5. Please used in 28 days after opening. Discard expired drugs in accordance with the provisions of the local environmental protection departments.
6. Keep out of reach of children.

Withdrawal Swine and cattle: 14day. Milk: 60 hours.
Storage Sealed and stored at a shading and cool place.
